Personal Belongings in Car

My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: NC my car was reposessed on the 5th and by the 8th was at auction cleaned out for sale???? I was told my personal belongings were trashed and no one knows where my license plate is.....why on the 7th I received a letter stating I had 10 days and everything happened inthe matter of 4? What recourse do I have? Anyone?

Are you stating that the car was sold in less than ten days, or are you stating that the car was prepped for auction so it could be sold once ten days had passed?
