Default Subpoena for Documents / Digital Records in North Carolina District Court

My question involves court procedures for the state of: NC

I am trying to obtain information to defend myself in two family court cases.

What I need to obtain are records that are still in my house and I need to prepare to defend on both cases. I have about three weeks to get this done.

What I need are paper documents and digital documents (pictures and PDF files).

I want to request copies of the paper documents, and a DVD with the digital pictures and PDF files through a subpoena.

I have looked at the NC General Statute, Rule 45 (Subpoena) and I believe it is OK to request this documentation and have it sent to the court. But for the digital data, can I also request a copy of the DVD be sent to me? Or is it implied that a copy will be mailed to me as part of the process?

    Thanks in advance!

Depending upon the type of family law case, you should be able to use discovery to obtain the materials. Share some context. Also, why have you apparently put this off to the last minute?
