    Default Sitting Out Warrants

First off if this isnt the proper place to make this post Im sorry. I have a warrant for a unpaid traffic ticket for approx 500. I was driving and got pulled over and my license was suspend because of this unpaid ticket. I was really fortunate in the officer didnt take me to jail but did give me a driving while licesene invalid ticket. This ticket also became a warrant. Both tickets are in different couties. I would like to sit out these tickets and was wondering how long on each warrant I might have to sit in jail to clear these tickets?

Warrants are forever. Until they are served or recalled, they wll generally remain in "the system." So, keep looking over your shoulder, they may raise their ugly head at any time - even many years from now.

I think he is speaking about actually going to jail rather than paying a fine to clear up his debt to society.

or at least that is what is sounds like to me.
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.

Yes that is correct just wondering if there is a specific amount of time I would have to sit in jail if I wanted to sit them out instead of paying the fine for each offense?

Ah! Okay. Well, that will depend on the state you are in, the specific offense(s) for which you are charged and convicted of, and whether you have any priors.
