My responsible, 38 year old boyfriend is having issues with an old girlfriend. She moved in with him 2 years ago, cheated on him, kicked him out of his own house and then finally moved out. She took a various items of his when she left and he just decided to let it go and be done with her. About 9 months later she started asking about a box of christmas decorations that she left. Well, he had found and gotten rid of it about a month before this. It has now been another year later and she is still asking for this box and is taking him to court over it. Does she really have a case?

Make sure your boyfriend shows up to court. If you have the box, then bring the box. If you don't, then state so. I sincerely doubt she'll get any money out of it
