My question involves vehicle registration or title in the state of: Pennsylvania. I was pulled over and found out my registration was suspended and the cop was saying my insurance wasn't showing up! I had insurance on my vehicle and showed the cop my insurance card. But since I had gone without insurance a little while ago my registration was suspended. I called Penn Dot and they told me to send in my plate and sticker to serve the three month suspention. So now I have a hearing on Oct. 7th 2009! And the funny thing is that I just spent $600 to get my car fixed so it would pass inspection! I tried to make sure everything was legal with my car so I didn't have to worry. So now I'm wondering If I can sell/give my car to a family member and have the title transferred into there name till the three month suspension is up? And can they get another registration for the car and could I still drive it? Because I need a vehicle to drive to work everyday! And If I can sell my car to someone and still be able to drive it, where would I have to go to take care of all of this?? Can someone help me out and explain to me what i would need to do to sell my car to a family member with the registration suspended??
