    Default Can My Landlord Tow My Car for Not Having Current Registration Tags

    My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California

    My apartment manager is trying to tow several vehicles for not having current registration tags. Is this legal? She has even put stickers on all the cars in question and taken pictures of our license plates.

    Yes it's legal and should be spelled out in your lease.

    If the vehicles are in a driveway and off the street, they cannot be towed. It has to your personal driveway and not shared.
