I got caught driving with out a license and at the time i was 16. I only had taken a drivers ed class but never got a permit. I turned 17 on the 15th of Sep and my court date is on the 28th of sep.

My question is will i still b able to get my license when i turn 18 or do i have to wait longer. And how much might i be fined?
I live on the north side of Chicago but i was ticketed in north riverside..

i did get into an accident that's how i got caught but it wasn't severe the persons bottom left corner of the bumper had only a few minor scratches which could easily be fixed with a paint job. The car i was driving i had permission and it was insured.

Also should i go apply for a license now or just wait till court?

any help will be greatly appreciated =]
