Default Why is My Case Still Open After 2 Years

Hi my name is Ryan and I am from Indiana.. I was ticketed for possession of marijuana in 2006. Went to court and did everything asked of me (fines, drug awareness classes, community service) I was browsing around on the net the other day and figured I would go take a look at court records.. Found mine and it says that it is still open? I read the docket and it says I completed everything and the state filed motion to dismiss the charges and 8/31/2007. Everything fine and dandy since.. Why is my case still open.. Buddy of mine was with me at the time and had the same procedure and his is closed.. Did they forget to close this by accident. Is this beneficial in any way to me that is still open or worse? Thank you for any answers.. I am baffled and wondering if I should go to the courthouse and ask them to close this.

It could be a mistake by the court; the only place you'll find out for sure is from the court.
