Default Time Barred Debt
I need a sample letter from a reputable source to file with a collection agency know as the infamous NCO Financial. One that specify s that they are trying to collect a Time Barred Debt. The S.O.L as I understand it is 5 years for a credit card debt in Florida. It has been well over 7 years since any activity on the account.
I have filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the FCC. I filed a complaint with the FCC since whenever NCO calls its an abandoned call. (it does show up sometimes on called id sometimes not) However the calls continue even on weekends. I wish to set this company up the legal way to eventually sue them.
PLEASE NO RESPONSE FROM "MR. KNOWITALL" thank you.

You have something against correct information? That's pretty foolish.

Send them this and this.

I think he has something against being told the law instead of what he wants to hear.

NCO is a junk debt buyer. If they have purchased your expired debt, the fact that it is expired doesn't mean that they can't contact you and ask you to pay it. However, they should not threaten to sue you over an expired debt. One of the standard tactics of outfits like this is to try to get you to do something to reaffirm the debt (e.g., make a payment of any size) so that they can again legally pursue it in court.

Did your Mama teach you those horrible manners? And what makes you think you're in charge, here?

Figure it out for yourself. No one is going to help you with your attitude.

Did I hurt someones feeling here. Don't I have any rights here. If I prefer not to communicate with someone does this make me a bad guy?
I'm sorry if I offended anyone but lets be realistic if you don't care for my attitude it's ok to ignore/not answer me, really I wont be mad. Missy you comment is out of line referring to my Mother. Your in contempt of court.....
Arron (administrator) where were you on that one???
Mr. knowitall did you even read my post. look at the information I provided does that look to you like someone whos clueless....what you refer to as "knowing the law" when it comes to NCO thats basic information your regurgitating, not to much law going on there bud..
Anyone with an internet connection and google could get that info on NCO. Be real here if I found this web site apparently I was competent enough to type in NCO in google.... This website is "expertlaw" I expected more, what can I say....
I was just looking for a professional letter to send them. Anyhow they stopped calling I found a tempplate sent it certified and they stopped calling the day after I received the certified letter back,
Apparently your incorrct when it comes to "they can contact you" they cannot,,,, once you have stipulated to them it is a time barred debt in writing, then the only thing they can do at this point legally is call to tell me they will stop calling, I know redundant. or take me to court and loose since the SOL has run out. Are you really knowledgeable of the Law or did you just stay at a holiday in express....

No, you really do not have any rights here. Where did you get the idea that you would have any rights on a private forum?
