Asylee Arrested for Patronizing Prostitution

Hello,
I was granted asylum 6 years ago and convicted for patronizing prostitution one year later, patronizing prostitution is class B misdemeanor punishable by a fine of $600 and or 6 months in jail, however I was sentenced to misdemeanor diversion 11 months and 29 days probation and the charge was expunged one later after the probation.

Now I want to adjuste my status.
My questions is will I qualify for "petty offense"?
Will I be denied because been convicted within 5 years after entry to the usa?
and patronizing prostitution and procuring prostitution the same thing?
