My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of:New York
I own a house in upstate New York. I leased it for 15 months after moving to Texas. I have just found out that we are moving back to New York and we'd like to move back into the house but the lease does not expire until March 31, 2010.
Do I have any legal right to terminate the lease early?
They are good tenants and have paid on time and as far as I know they have not damaged my property in any way. The lease does not specify any special circumstances under which termination is an option.
