Voluntary Deportation to UK, Trying to Re-Enter the U.S.

Mother of 3 US born children who were kidnapped after nasty divorce by ex husband 9 years ago. I am a British citizen.

I was found guilty of check fraud (passing worthless checks), I was classified as NON-essential personnel since I was divorced, no dependants (due to kidnapping, ex won Temporary custody of my children as I was detained by INS...who would not allow me to appear) and carrying a green card due to expire after 10 years residency. My green card was not renewed.

I was put on a plane back to the UK, voluntarily deported 7 Jan 2003.

My children have grown, 20, 19 & 17. My oldest made contact..as of april 2009.....he is a US Marine...so proud. My father is now a naturalized US citizen living in TX.

I am a balloon artist with my own business in the UK.

The World Balloon Conference will be held in Dallas, TX April 2010.

I would like to visit my Sons, stay with my Father and attend the conference.

Is there any place I should start? Web references for application tips, etc...for a trip of about 30 days?
