Default Being Sued by Midland Funding
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Indiana
I am being sued by Midland funding LLC (collections bought from citibank). There is no account number on the summons (so I have no idea which citibank card it is- there were two) and it states $975. Also, both these accounts were first delinquent in 2001. I thought they couldn't sue past 6 years in Indiana. Anyways, does anybody have a good template for a "request for a production of documents" so I can respond to the summons? I have a feeling they can't even show I owe the money since it was so many years ago.
So basically, how do I file an answer to the complaint? What is the process?

Thanks for any advice!

Check your county law library (e.g., Marion County), as they probably have a "civil practice" annual that outlines how to answer a lawsuit and may also have sample forms.
