Default Conspiracy and extortion laws in America

Aren't their any conspiracy or extortion laws in America. All the government keeps highliting are these civil based laws such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the FOIA AND PA Acts and state disclousure laws. These laws are spineless and have no merit. The only way most people are going to get their file from corporate america and the government is to hack it out of a system or to physically steal it. If they began releasing these files they would have enough civil lawsuits in a week to destory their institutions and it would create havoc on the court system.
Is it reasonable to expect someone to have to physically steal a walking dossier or other type of gathered report on you that is being used to deny you employment or housing or being used to deny you your constitutional rights. The government thinks so and if they catch you trying to steal these dossiers their throw you in prison. So where are the prosecutable laws.

Default Thanks ! I'll check this site out !

I'll check this site out ! I hear felony extortion laws have lengthy and mandatory sentencing but I've never heard of any one such as a insurance company or credit bureau or corporation of government agency or employee or even a faternal organization ever being charged under these statues. I guess laws really don't mean a lot if theirs no actual acting authority.
I remember David Burnham's book ( Above The Law ) that intruded into these area's. To bad its out of print.

    Thanks Again !

I used to believe in the Justice Dept, FBI, law enforcement agents until a few months ago. I now realize they are as bad, if not worse, as the criminals. I also think they are using their power to become more intrusive on the average American. We should really worry about this power and the abuse that comes along with it. My only caveat to the government would be this: You reap what you sow. We, the people in the private sector, pay your fat salaries/benefits...........you keep screwing with the American people the way you have and we will rise and take you down.

With me it has been a few years ago. They do not want to support me. The two lines I'm being brainwashed are: "If you can't beat'em, join'em." "Put the law in your own hands."
