Default Radar Gun and Unfair Ticket

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: WA
Today i got pulled over the officer was driving toward me and saw that i was speeding. He pulled me over i gave him information he asked me how fast i was going, i told him i wasn't sure. He told me i was going 48 in a 25. He then went back to his car with my information and brought back a ticket and told me i was going 47. I questioned him and said i thought you said before i was going 48. He denied that. I then asked to see his radar and he refused. He gave me the ticket and wrote the correct living address on the ticket but the wrong address for the cars registration...... i thought they had to show you the radar cause i know he didn't clock me.

any help or advice would be great thank you

They do NOT have to show you the radar

Any moving radar unit could easily have clocked you from a quarter-mile distance or greater. Most such radars have one mile of range, but practical target range is far less as the officer must first witness the violation--speed in excess of the posted limit in this case--before activating the radar to confirm his visual estimate of your speed.

If you're a typical driver, this would have happened long before you'd noticed the police vehicle.
