    Default Landlord Won't Return Deposit

My question involves a security deposit in the State of: Minnesota

I had a 12 month lease ending on May 31st of this year, which my roommates and I vacated and returned the keys on that day. My landlord called the next day saying he would deduct $10 from each of our deposits (4 of us total) for cleaning, which is fine. 2 of my roommates are renting a different house from him for another year, so he transferred their deposits to the new house with no deductions. The third roommate is subleasing a space in that house for 3 months and the landlord agreed to keep his deposit as payment for one months rent. I have received nothing and have left my landlord multiple messages and he has yet to call me back. Is there anything i can do about this?

You've received nothing, meaning what? Your share was $40 and he took the cleaning fee out of your share?

If he owes you money, consider small claims court.
