Default Way Over Past Due Student Loan
i have a friend who went to school about 10 years ago and she has let her student loans go into default and already went to a collection agency and then already to court. she had to stop working because they were taking her paycheck and was not making any money. I told her that she really needs to get this taken care of but i feel that she is to late what can she do if anything?

Default Re: Way Over Past Due Student Loan
We are to infer that these are guaranteed student loans, non-dischargeable in bankruptcy? Her best choice is to get a job and work out a repayment plan.
