My question involves restraining orders in the State of: Washington
This kind of hits a few different topics..
My dad's wife filed for divorce and a no contact order. Dad mentioned a previous attorney of his that would like to speak with her. I in turn called her son, and he called my dad's wife. She called the police on the no contact order stating 3rd party contact. The proscuting attorney didn't even speak to me in court today and they have set the trial date for Wednesday. My dad's attorney told me to leave the room and that I'm on "vacation" on Wednesday when trial is set, and is fighting over jurisdiction (one city, to a different city, to out of state, to the city where the no contact order was filed) instead of (what I think) is 4th party contact. Question is... Do I have to show up for Trial on Wednesday if my subpoena was only for today, and is my dad's lawyer and idiot for fighting over jurisdiction?
