My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: DC
I was recently visiting DC and on my way out of the City I heard some sirens. I stopped at the green light and after a few seconds I though the sirens were heading away. I foolishly did not visually verify where the emergency vehicle was because once I started to drive across the street a fire engine was turning left. I hit my breaks and so did the fire engine and we did not collide and I quickly drove across the intersection to get out of its way. My question is how likely am I to get a ticket in the mail about this and what kind of trouble am I in.
