Default Deposition in Idaho and Arizona

This is for Arizona and Idaho. I'm in the middle of a divorce. I am wondering about a deposition. How much does it cost? Do both parties have to be there? Do lawyers have to give the deposition? I'm in Arizona now, but need the deposition in Idaho, because that is where my ex and I have mutual friends.

The deposition costs what it costs - fees depend upon the length of the deposition, whether you order a transcript, and whether you order any special services from the court reporter. Think "probably somewhere in the hundreds", but don't expect the low hundreds and long depositions can be very expensive.

Somebody has to be there to question your witness. If you represent yourself, that's you. If you have a lawyer, that's your lawyer. All parties may attend a deposition.

If you wish to compel somebody to attend a deposition in a state other than where the litigation is pending, you normally have to commence an ancillary hearing in that state in order to gain subpoena power.
