    Default Estate tax for non-resident/citizen

    I am neither a US citizen nor a resident in the USA. I have stocks of a US publiclly listed company. If I die, will I be liable for the estate tax?

    Your help/advice will be much appreciated.

    If you are neither a resident nor a citizen, estate tax shouldn't apply.
