Default Roommate Owes Rent, Utilites, and is Unreachable

We live in the state of Washington. My roommate wrote me a check for her half of the rent this month, which I deposited to my account then wrote a check to the landlord for the full amount. I later realized my roommate's check bounced. Ever since I informed her of this she has been unreachable, her cell phone is turned off and she cannot be contacted. She also owes me this month's utilites and a chunk of the rent from the past two months as well. Can she be evicted even though the full amount of rent was paid to the landlord (by me) and how can I get my money since she can't be reached?

What do you mean by "my roommate" - are you both on the lease as co-tenants, or are you the only person on the lease and she's your tenant? If it's the latter you can evict her. If it's the former, you're at the mercy of your landlord.
