    Default BMG Music

When I was 17, I joined BMG music. I got my first seven cd's free with the agreement to pay like 20 bucks and buy a cd within a year for $14.98 or up. I mailed them payment by check, and a month later I start getting letters from a collection agency saying I owe like fifty something dollars. So I called BMG and talked to a representative and he told me that if I mailed another check for the original price, they would mark me in the computer as payed. A month later I get another letter from their agency threatening to report me to some credit place unless I pay like $75. Since I signed up when I was legally a minor, can they report me to a credit place? What can I do about me mailing the checks but them conveniently not getting them?

If they didn't get the check, they didn't get the check. You can see if they cashed a check you sent.

You can't get out of a completed contract just because you signed up when you were a minor.
