Finding Information on Unpaid Speeding/Expired Inspection Tag Tickets

A friend of mine living in Virgina has had her license taken away due to unpaid speeding and expired inspection tag tickets in New York. The lawyer has advised them that they should pay the tickets BEFORE the court date when they go to handle the driving on a suspended license.

However, they can't find the information on the tickets without the information on her license - and the cop took that.

She no longer has any of the tickets herself either. This is why they're trying to get at the information through other means.

So does anyone here have an idea how they can find out the information on the unpaid tickets so they can pay them?

She needs her "client ID" off the license to look up the ticket information. Is there ANY other way to either look up the ticket information without that? Or is there a way to get a hold of her client ID number so they can look this up?
