Default California Unemployment Claim and 1099

My question involves independent contractors in the state of: CA

This is for my sister so hopefully I provide the information needed but if not, please let me know and I'll get more details.

She was laid off from a FT I9 job end of last year and has been receiving unemployment since January. Her claim has not been extended yet but is due to be soon.

She has just accepted a 1099 job but is now worried that once the job ends this will cancel her unemployment claim. Can she continue to receive unemployment once this job ends (assuming she doesn't get another role and continue to work)?

    Thank you

We don't have the information to know if she will have enough qualifying earnings to again obtain unemployment benefits. She should read this.
