Default Changing Agencies
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: CT

Hi there. My wifes student loan is being sought by DCS.They are saying it goes for review on Tuesday(28July09) and could end up with Dept.of Justice.Do we have to repay them or can we try deal directly with Sally Mae(original loaner)? Does it make any difference? I just haven't heard any ggod things about DCS. She absolutely wants to repay her debt. Who do we go to for professional help.

Her loan is in default, cause she has been out of country(now back) for 10 years and she is the first to admit that she made some bad choices regarding this, but we all grow up.

thanks for your advice.

Default Re: Changing Agencies
If she qualifies for loan rehabilitation, that's usually the best option.
