Student Visas and Deporation (Canada)

Hey all, im new to this forum, but recently i got involved in a huge mess with my ex-girlfriend threatening to get immigration on me. Basically, im a student in Canada (from the usa) and i have a passport, i have a student visa. but currently im not registered in any classes...does this mean i could get deported???

im going back to the usa anyways within a week or two, but im just curious if i can get deported for being here?

I'm not familiar with Canadian immigration law; but it seems axiomatic that to remain in a nation under a student visa you would be required to be enrolled in classes. You may wish to review this guide to Canadian study permits.
