My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wisconsin
My ex-lawyer for DUI's lied to police on a statement. I tried to press assault charges against him. He yelled in front of at least 50 people "You F****** drunk B****" and I yelled back that I had not been drinking & blew in his face. He again screamed "You F****** drunk B****" and grabbed me pushing me threw a whole group of people. Someone else came & took him off me. I called the police the next day after I thought about it. The police told me to leave out any prior events & gave me one page to write a statement. The officer stated that this would be difficult because the DA's wife was standing right next to me when this occurred. On the lawyers statement, he stated that I attacked him when he came after me verbally and later physically. He said he feared me, that I have a phychosis, etc. The events as he stated them did not happen. The lawyer was given time & wrote 3 pages including his positive attibutes. I feel he should have had assault charges, defamation, & now obstruction of justice. However, I feel I can't get anywhere because he is a lawyer. Is there anything I can do?
