My question involves a roommate in the State of: California
I am the only person on the lease for a house in California. I have two other roommates, Jim and Rob. Jim is an amazing roommate. He cleans up. Keeps to his own and is a great guy to be around. Rob, on the other hand is not.. He needed a place to stay while working on legalities with divorce. So I thought I would give him a break. He doesn't work but ends up with money mysteriously. He constantly pays rent and utilities late and doesn't clean up after himself. After telling him to clean up and pay ontime, he continues and I am tired of it and want him gone. I need professional advice on how to evict him.
-He has not paid this months rent in full. Can I give him three days notice?
-Is the end of the month too soon to evict him?
-I'm also concerned about my safety when confronting him.
Signed,
impatient
