On Parole with 2 New Misdemeanor Cases

In colorado: My brother has burg 2nd and escape from 2004. He did 3 years in prison and is on parole now, he gets off in december. However he was charged with child abuse 7(v) as a misdemeanor and 3rd degree assult domestic violence and this is a misdemeanor. Both cases are fightable but he wants to plead guilty to both if they just let him do his DOC time concurrent with the new charges, is this possible or what should we do? I know this looks really bad and makes him look very violent but the child abuse was an accident and the 3rd degree assult, he just pushed the girl off of him when she was hitting him and she fell down pretty hard. Which is enough to get the charge in this state, I guess, so what could we do?
