Speeding Ticket, But No Sign Was Posted

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of:Georgia

I Turned onto a road that is a 55mph road with a little section of 45 roughly 200 yards. I pulled onto the the road in the middle of the 45mph section and saw a saw a sign of end of school zone me thinking it was no longer 45 i continued to the speed of 60mph and about 20 yards around a bend i didn't slow as i thought it was a 55mph zone

he gave me a citation for 62mph in a 45mph and its a state ordinance. From where i pulled onto the road to where he pulled me over their is no speed limit sign the only one in view was a 55mph about 10yards past the police officer was sat in his car?
Im new to this country VERY new to the legal system i do not know what to do and need help thanks very much

I doubt that the rules in this country are any different than the rules in the country you came from - you follow the posted speed limit. A change in the speed limit does not apply until you reach the point of the sign changing the limit. Signs need to be posted at regular intervals, but not after each and every intersection.
