Do I need to get a workers permit, for a job, if I attend Penn Foster High School Program?
I attend Penn Foster for my high school diploma.
I live in Ohio with my boyfriend and his parents, not my legal guardian, and I am 17 years old.
Do I need to get a working permit to be able to get a job?
Penn Foster High School program isn't like a traditional high school. We do not have vacations or a daily schedule to do assignments.
I don't know the laws in Ohio.
A working permit is for students in high school who need to balance classes and work.
P.S
May I get a job in Ohio when I'm a minor and not with my legal guardian?
Who should I call for the answers of my questions?
Penn Foster requires the tuition to be payed before you receive your high school diploma even if the student has enough credits to graduate.
I will be 17 when I have gotten all my credits but I will still have tuition to pay. Because I don't have my diploma, will I still need a workers permit?
And, when I pay off my tuition will I still need a workers permit?
