Unhappy Am I Entitled to Leave for My Lunch Break

My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: IL
My boss told me that I may not leave for my 30 minute lunch break as I may miss a phone call. She informed me that I need to bring my lunch and may not leave if I am the only one in the department which occurs every time I work nights. She did say I may go out for my lunch if she is still there (which she usually is for the 1st hour to hour and a half of my shift). I work 6 hour shifts so I am entitled to a lunch break but am I entitled to leave for my 30 minute lunch?

This is the Il. meal break law:

    Illinois code says:
An employee who is to work 7 1/2 continuous hours or more shall be provided an unpaid meal period of at least 20 minutes. The meal period must be given to an employee no later than 5 hours after beginning work. Illinois has no law regarding breaks. If you are not able to take your meal break than you must be paid for it. In order for it to be a non paid meal break you must be given the whole 20 minutes away from work without any interruption.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
