Asked for Paternity Test, if Not Father of Baby is My Part Done

So i visited the baby and mother today she wants to wait a month before a text is done i told the nurse would need one ASAP. she told me who to go talk to tomorrow at the hospital. now what information i am getting from the internet is really confusing me, once we find out if i am the dad, if i am not, does it end there for me besides paying the test fee or is there any other things i have to sign or go threw, would anyone know

If you've been sued over paternity, the issue won't be closed until the court receives the DNA results and issues a ruling based upon those results. If the DNA test excludes you as father, I would expect the court to issue an order that states you're not the father.
