INFESTSATION of apartment. WHAT can be done?

Hi, I am renting an apartment in Springfield MISSOURI and since moving in have been going back and forth with apartment complex in regards to an ANT infestation problem. They come in and spray but the problem is much bigger than this. I live in a basement apartment and would simply like to be moved to a 1st or 2nd floor apartment. Are there any laws about things like this?

Have you tried asking your landlord if he will permit you to move within the complex?
