Effect of Non-Compete Clause After Termination of Franchise

My question involves business law in the state of: All United States

I was doing a franchise business of a brand. Early this year, i fed up with the support of the brand and started my own business on the same line. As a part of my franchise, i have signed an agreement which states that i will not compete with him either directly or indirectly for 2 years upon termination. Now the brand owner terminated me and asked me to close my new business. I have not used any of the materials, information, trade mark etc. For my new business, i have created everything new. Can anyone suggest what i need to do for my new business. I am ready to sell this business to someone (as i have created some IPs on the new business). IF i sell this to anyone, will there be any problem for the buyer. Please help

If you are in violation of your franchise agreement's termination clause then you will need to correct that or face being sued.
