AOS and in Dark After Park Hours Violation NYC

Hi,

I was in NY last year but now I reside in GA and currently my AOS is still on the works. I got a violation ticket stating "In dark after hours". I really didn't know that the Central Park in NYC had a curfew and since also that I was just visiting there. I also failed to appear in court and it has been 5 months since.

I plan on calling NY Court to work things out.

Will that affect my petition BIG time? Is it even considered a criminal case???

It' s a small thing that you made bigger by failing to appear. I suggest getting a lawyer to help you wrap things up.
