Default 2 Charges Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and 1 Charge of Possession of Marijuana

My question involves criminal law for the state of: OHIO

In March, I was convicted with two charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and one charge of possession of marijuana. The first time some friends and I were in a room and Campus security walked in and saw me with a pipe in my hand. The pipe wasnt mine, but under pressure, and since it was in my hand I claimed that it was. I was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and possession of marijuana that time. Two weeks later, my friend was driving home, and got pulled over for a speeding ticket. The cop saw that there looked like a pot leaf in the ash tray (there was no proof that it was, we did not smoke at all on the way home, we actually wasnt even aware it was there.) My apparent "friend" who was driving, when asked said their may or may not have been pot in the car. I had a glass bowl in my bag that I brought on the trip with me. The driver got out of the car, and basically told the cop that I had a pipe in my bag. I was arrested on the spot and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia again.
I went to court a month later, with no lawyer or attorney, and pleaded guilty to all charges (I realize this was stupid as im sure with the first pipe not being mine and the second time the cop didnt have right to search the car my charges could have been greatly reduced.) I am currently senteced with my drivers license suspended for two and a half years, 2 years probation, and a lot in fines and court costs. I am not trying to neglect what I did but at the time I was caught I probably only smoked about 10 times before then. I am currently enrolled in a drug rehabilitation course for the fall when i go back to school in Ohio (where i was convicted). I know live in Pittsburgh with my family over the summer, and the loss of driver's license is absolutely killing my parents who drive my brothers everywhere. I was wondering if it is possible at all or any way to at least get a conditional driver's licesne to at least drive to work? to pay of the stupid fines in the first place? Seriously how does the court expect you to pay ludacris fines when they take away your only transportation to attain the money? I digress as I'm going into the absurdity of Marijuana laws in our country. Is it possible though to get my license back..?

When you asked the DMV this question, what did they tell you?

I have not heard back from them yet, I sent out a letter yesterday, so hopefully in a few days.
