Can I Get Emancipated

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Virginia

I am 16 years old and and would like to move back to Florida where I left my freinds and life behind, I currently live with my mom and her boyfreind but the living arrangments are making me very unhappy, I do not currently have a job so is there a way I can get the petition even though I dont have $150 and I currently have no way to support myself after getting emancipated. After getting emancipated I am planning on moving in with a freind until I can support myself and find my own place. I love my mom very much but I feel the best thing in my life right now would be to live in Florida again. Any other tips you might have for me would also be very helpfull.

Read the top two. No chance of emancipation at this time.

It's not about what COULD happen or what you plan to do, it's ALL about what track history of self support you already HAVE and can SHOW.

The fact that you can even ask whether you can be emancipated when you do not have a way to support yourself, proves that you do not understand what emancipation means or involves.

Ok, I have done a little more research into the subject, and decided that if I need to currently be able to support myself at the time of emancipation, is it possible to work for a while while saving most of my paychecks, then getting emancipated and afterwards moving? That way after moving I'll have enough to support myself until I find new job and a new place to live. I still dont know everything about it but im going to continue doing research to make sure that I know everything I will need to know regarding emancipation.

All right I did not realize this as I am still researching it. This is probably going to sound like avery stupid question but how do I build up a record of supporting myself, I know that my knowledge of this subject is still rather small but I am completely serious about trying to get emancipated and even if it may take several months to do this I am willing to go all the way through with it.

Without your parents' consent, to move out, it's not going to happen. The courts do not emancipate minors because they are homesick.
