My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Florida
Greetings,
I was receiving benefits up until a 2 months ago.A rep from unemployment called me and said that my employer said I quit.I voluntarily gave them too much information in my response by saying that I was detained for six months after returning from vacation by immigration.Of course they denied me due to incarceration(different from being detained, right?).My employer has no knowledge of me being detained, unless they know now because of my hearing.
I am currently due for an appeals hearing in TOMORROW(representing myself...-PLEASE HELP).My questions are as follows:
1) Can I say I made a mistake and was detained for a lesser time?
2) Can I retract my statement that I made about being detained? If so, how do I go about it?
3) What are the chances of me winning?
4) May I please have a few tips on how to win?
Thank you in advance.
