    Default Chipped Tooth

My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Chipping my tooth.
Well basically, in the university of Toledo, we have some terribly maintained doors that literally take brute force to open. what happened was, some friends and I had finished eating dinner and were walking back to the library, while they took the right set of doors, I took the one on the left. while attempting to push the door, it hardly opened, and then all of the sudden stopped and started moving backwards towards me. I had already removed my hand and the door crashed into my face. What im asking is if the school is liable for this at all? and if so will they cover my dentist bills..

Most college/universities have you pay a student health type fee that also covers accidents while on school property. I fell at my school last year and also broke a tooth. The first thing you should probably do is find out how to contact your school's risk management office and file a claim with them. This let the officially know about the injury and their insurance paid my dentist directly. Unfortunately I had to take them to small claims for pain and suffering but we were able to settle in the court's mediation office.
