Can I Use Song Lyrics and Band Names in Script Dialogue

I have written a script and would like to know if I can use song lyrics and band names without infringing on any copywrites.

Example; Monty: Who sings these lyrics; "blah blah blah"
Scott: That's David Bowie, "Let's Dance".

Maybe. That's not a question we can answer in the abstract. The good part is, if you sell your script the people who buy it will have their lawyers go over it for issues of this type.
