My question involves paternity law for the State of: Florida
Hi, I dont know what to do. i took care of a child believed to be mine for 3 yrs. and come to find out i am not the father. found out thru a paternity test. so now i am no longer part of the childs life but the mother continues to put me down as the father so she can put me on child support and pay for insurance. what legal actions can i take from here? please help

You stopped being part of the child's life, but you're on the birth certificate as the legal father and have done nothing to change that or to get a court order declaring nonpaternity? If not, you're the legal father.

Has she filed in court for CS?
If she has and it has not been ordered yet, you can deny paternity and request a court ordered DNA test.
