Violations of Parole with 2 Pending Cases

My question involves criminal law for the state of: CALIFORNIA

My boyfriend went jail yesterday for parole violation, he recently caught a marijuana case in Vegas ( not to mention leaving out of his 45 miles), and a prior one last year in October for the same thing. It was under the sales amount, but , because of his previous record of sells they charged him with intend to sell. Well, both times i bailed him out.Yesterday I took him in to see his parole officer and they kept him. Just wondering how long can they give, he denied a deal for 16 months for the Oct case, now he is in his pretrial stage, the Vegas case hasnt started unit June his first court date that. So now what happens? First, time dealing with some one with a criminal past so im clueless!

For the parole voilation he can serve whatever time he had left on parole plus the other 2 charges if he is found guitly. The good thing about parole is if your parole is 4 years,you serve 3 w. out any problems,then mess up,the max they can hold you for is a year.With probation the clock can start again. If he getting locked up a lot a sort prision sentecne where once he is released he won't have any restrictions might work out best for him. The 1st step is to get a lawyer or legal aid,and ask them any question you may have.
