Voluntary Repo with Cancel All Debt in Exchange for Collateral
My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: GA
I contacted the people my loan was through by email and explained in detail why I was asking for a voluntary repo and even attached copies of check stubs showing how the broken economy has affected my ability to make my payments. I asked for a voluntary repo and to cancel all debt in exchange for the collateral. This was agreed upon as well as no fees. One of the representatives there called me and said that there would be no fees and that someone would be by to pick up the truck. I gave the guy the keys and had him sign an aknowledgement of receipt truck in agreement with the email. I kept the original and gave him a copy. I even have a copy of the collection paper stating that it was a voluntary repo and that there was a present balance of $0.00.
Today, they sent me a "Notice of Repossession and Intent to Sell" showing that I owe the principal balance, accrued interest, repo fees, and LiensOther fees.
What can I do?
