Default DNA Results
My question involves paternity law for the State of: nevada

hi i just took a dna test for a 1 year old boy, and it said i was not the father. but i signed the birth certificate when he was born, i have the court order dna results with me. how do i get my name off the birth certificate?

was the DNA test a court ordered or court approved lab?

it was a court approved lab i guess. i went and paid for it myself. it has the official seal on the results. i just need to know how do i get my name off the birth certificate

well, hang on for some others as I am having difficulty finding any direction as to the proper action required.

Generally, you will need to file with the courts and request them to issue an order removing your name. As to the exact procedure, I can't offer much.
