Question Assault and Battery Charges
My question involves injury or loss that occurred in the state of: UK
I had a friend who was arrested by the police for attacking his drunken uncle. My friend got so full from his uncle's taunts. Most likely he will be charge of assault and battery- or battery alone since I don't think he threatened him but directly attacked him. Battery alone right? He will most likely admit that he had intent of hurting the guy... I want to please know what will happen to my friend if ever they found him guilty? And can he press a counter charge to this man?
