Angry Denying Paternity to Ex Boyfriend and Hiding in Another State
My question involves paternity law for the State of: florida

My question is basically if my ex girfriend has hidden for 1.5 years my paternity rights from me and I never knew I had a child with her after I get a dna test done to prove paternity can I request for her to move back to the state of florida to be closer to my child? since she left the state and got married to hide my baby from me?she has never let me see my daughter but once and since I was never aware of me having a child with her my name is not on the birth certificate and now the baby is 2.5 yrs old and my ex married a guy from the military and she want him to adopt her in another state. Can she do that without me having any say on this?Im needing some advise before I persue this any further and give my money to an attorney.Since I found out about my baby i have contacted her and she was ok in the beginning but then changed her mind and refused for me and my family to have anything to do with my baby.and got married and moved out of the state.please can anyone give me any kind of advise to guide me to the right direction?it would be gladly appreciated.

You can petition for custody of the child, if you wish. That would be through the court that issued the visitation and support order.

Giving due respect to the fact that she hid the pregnancy from you, there's also the fact that you didn't pay much attention to her or to the possibility of pregancy after your break-up. Had you wished to keep her from moving out of state, you should have been sufficiently attuned to both notice the pregnancy and to file a paternity action before the child's domicile was changed to Florida.
