    Question Harassment

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Kansas.
There was a guy that me and my friend had met last summer that we had been texting. He never really left us alone so one of our friends called him and told him to leave us alone. When he didn't, 2 of my friends called and told him he needed to leave me alone. He is now filing harassment charges on us.
    Can he do this?

    Default Re: Harassment

    Sure. Why not.

I could make a police report accusing you of harassing me, even though we've never met and this is our first contact.

It's possible that the police will investigate, depending upon what he alleges. If they conclude that there's no basis for the accusation, nothing will come of it.
