Default How Do I Establish Proof of Paternity
My question involves paternity law for the State of South Dakota.

I want to establish my rightful paternity but I think it might be impossible. My mother put her husband's name on my birth certificate back in 1966. My biological father always acknowledged me but never in a legal sense. He passed away in 1986. Is there any way I can get my biological deceased father's name on my birth certificate and get my mother's former husband's name off?
